A customer in a shoe store bought a pair of shoes that were on sale for $15.00.

The customer gave the salesman a $20.00 bill. The salesman did not have change, and went to an adjoining store and asked for change.

The owner of the store gave the salesman a $10.00 and two $5.00 bills. The salesman returned and gave the customer his shoes and $5.00 change. The customer left happily.
